bst update

This week has been quite productive in terms of BST. Our group consisted of Simkiel, Survive, and myself. (Hoss being EST, doing Limbus et al.) We started off around level 32, and we are now at 38. I find the exp bands to be invaluable for BST. Having saved the 2008 Anniversary Ring for BST exclusively, it has made leveling in slower zones more efficient and enjoyable.

A quick rundown of the zones we visited:

32-34: Gusgen Mines: Camped in the basement. We charmed Fungars and Flies, using them against Bombs and Flies. Exp slowed down a lot once we dinged 33, but our exp bands carried us to 34.

34-36: Bibiki Bay: Camped on the deck/beach area. Charmed Dhamels, Rarabs, and Efts, fighting Efts and Ravens. Exp dropped considerably at 36, so we moved on.

36-37: Sea Serpent Grotto: This place was awesome. We camped near the unmarked door on the way to Norg. Used Leeches and Bats v. Ghasts. Just chucked pets at mobs until they died- no meleeing alongside pets. Very easy with 3 people. Only had one death when Surv's leech decided to uncharm while she was running through a group of 3 or 4 leeches. Probably could have stayed here until 38, but exp slowed down too much, especially when we could have been in...

37-41: Yuhtunga Jungle: Camped in the SE corner of the map, near the Yhoater Jungle zone line. Pets included crawlers and bees v. gobs. We had to use a bunch of jug pets, due to the lack of charmable mobs in the area. Regardless, exp was awesome. We haven't quite exhausted this zone yet, and I anticipate being able to stay here until 39 or maybe even 40. I anticipate finishing this zone tonight.

Edit: This zone worked all the way until we dinged 41, then exp dropped, as gobs fell to the T-VT range.

Sim and I were able to grab our AF weapons pretty quickly. Surv still needs to get hers, as she was getting tired, and was sort of distracted by Sbrightblade fearlessly hitting on her. She got in a few funny insults, and he eventually shutup.

Future zones look to be either Yhoater Jungle or Attowha Chasm.
